Audio Visual Support Assistant

Delivering seamless audio visual for retreats and events

As the Audio Visual Support Assistant, you will manage the setup and operation of audio visual equipment for Mount Madonna’s New Year’s Yoga Retreat and potentially other events, programs, and retreats as needed. A/V needs vary widely, from a single presenter with one or two mics to hybrid programs with back-to-back virtual sessions requiring active management of sound, cameras, and live feeds. You will ensure sound quality both in the room and online, operate cameras remotely with zoom and panning to create an engaging experience for virtual retreat participants, and communicate directly with presenters and musicians to support their programs from start to finish. This role is a strong fit if you can safely operate small to medium power tools, understand jobsite safety protocols, communicate clearly and effectively, and are comfortable with the physical demands of the work, including lifting up to 40 pounds, using protective coverings, and working with cleaning supplies throughout a shift.
