Annual New Year's Yoga Retreat

As the earth completes another rotation around the sun and we transition into the new year, you are invited to take this precious opportunity to retreat and reflect upon the year past and the beginning of a new cycle.

Through various activities including Yoga practice – asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation – group gatherings, walks in the redwoods and meadows, music, singing, conversations and more, with conscious intention we will consider together how we wish to move into the new year.

The New Year’s Eve program typically includes singing, dancing, and a special meditation that begins before and continues up to the midnight hour. New Year’s Day features a yajna, or Vedic fire ceremony, for peace.
