ENGAGE CHILDREN IN YOGA
at Mount Madonna, California
Mount Madonna and Mount Madonna School are proud to jointly offer Mindfulness and Yoga for Educators and Parents : a Children’s Yoga Teacher Training. In this certification program, educators will learn to create and teach engaging yoga classes for children. Apply the practices of Hatha Yoga (path of balance) and the theory of Classical Ashtanga Yoga (eight-limbed path) to child development.
This comprehensive training will inspire you to bring the benefits of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and self-reflection to your young students and their families. This course is designed to deepen your personal practice.
Students will receive a certificate of completion of a 95-hour Children’s Yoga Teacher Training. Those who hold a RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance will be able to register for a Children’s Yoga Teacher (CRYT) credential.
