Ram Navami
Join us for Ram Puja & Havan | March 26, 4:00 p.m.
You are invited to celebrate Ram Navami and honor the birthday of our guru, Baba Hari Dass, at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple. Babaji was born on March 26, 1923, on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. This year, Ram Navami again falls on March 26.
Ram Navami celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, one of the most beloved figures in Hindu tradition. Regarded as an avatar of the god Vishnu, Rama is revered as the embodiment of dharma (righteousness), compassion, and devotion to truth. His life story, told in the ancient epic the Ramayana, has inspired spiritual seekers for thousands of years and continues to hold deep significance for communities around the world.
The evening’s ceremony will include a Ram Puja and small fire (havan) ceremony at Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, followed by kirtan (devotional singing), and evening arati (ritual of light).
