Annual New Year's Yoga Retreat

Pause to treasure this time of transition

As the earth completes another rotation around the sun and we transition into the new year, we take this precious opportunity to retreat together and reflect upon the year past and the beginning of a new cycle.

Through various activities including Yoga practice – asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation – group activities, walks in the redwoods and meadows, music, singing, conversations and more, with conscious intention we can consider how we wish to move into the new year.

The New Year’s Eve program typically includes singing, dancing, and a special meditation that begins before and continues up to the midnight hour. New Year’s Day features a yajna, or Vedic fire ceremony, for peace.

Our New Year’s Yoga Retreat and each of our signature annual retreats provide a rich opportunity for personal growth, for learning yogic methods, and for experiencing the well-being of body, mind and spirit in connecting with oneself and other like-minded individuals. We welcome you to join us as we tread this ancient path to peace!
