STUDY THE ESSENTIALS OF YOGA & AYURVEDA

at Mount Madonna, California

Yoga & Ayurveda: The Essentials

Online

Study Yoga Theory & Practice Through the Lens of Ayurveda

Dive deeply into three days of Yoga theory and practice as viewed through the lens of Ayurveda. Drawing from Patanjali’s Ashtanga (eight-limbed) Yoga System and the practices of Hatha Yoga, learn foundational practices of pranayama (breathwork), mudra (symbolic gestures), shat karma (purification methods) and dhyana (meditation), as well as basic philosophy and theory of both Yoga and Ayurveda as taught by Baba Hari Dass. Receive instruction from faculty who have studied their subject matter for many years, and many of whom were senior students of Baba Hari Dass.

This compact introduction is ideal for serious students who want to augment their knowledge and practice. This program is a requirement for anyone whose YTT 200 certificate is not from Mount Madonna and plans to take either the Advanced Yoga Studies (YTT 300) or the Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy program.
