All meals are strictly vegetarian. Our kitchen uses fresh, high quality ingredients, incorporating organic and local products whenever possible, in lovingly prepared menus. We can accommodate most special dietary needs and requests, including dairy- and gluten-free.
Kaya Kalpa means “rejuvenation of body and spirit.” We invite you to experience a variety of Ayurvedic therapies, traditional massage, and other treatments provided by professionally trained practitioners in a nourishing oasis of peace.
Centered around a large courtyard and garden feature, our largest facility features an expansive view of redwoods, the Santa Cruz mountain range, and the Monterey Bay. The bright, open meeting hall features a high ceiling, expansive windows with black-out curtains, various lighting options, full sound equipment, and an optional stage. Nearby are two breakout rooms, the Maple and Willow Rooms. The facility features guest rooms for up to 74 people. A stocked tea and fruit bar are standard.
This facility is situated on a knoll overlooking meadows and redwoods, with a broad view of the Monterey Bay. The meeting room is bright and comfortable, with a high ceiling and sliding doors that open out onto a large deck. The facility features guest rooms for up to 16 people. A small kitchen with a tea and fruit bar are standard.
This clean and simple meeting space offers a high ceiling, plenty of windows for natural light, and a large deck with an orchard view.
Hotel-style rooms (without phones or TVs) with twin beds in each. Some include a private bathroom with a shower. Others have access to shared (private while in use) bathrooms and showers down the hall. Natural and unscented body products are provided.
The Ram Cottages are ideal for program presenters, small families, or anyone seeking a greater degree of privacy. They are located a short distance away from the main conference buildings and offer easy access to the Wellness Center and many hiking trails. All beds are singles.
Situated in an oak grove, the cozy Oaks Cabins each sleep 2 people and have electricity and heat, but no plumbing and no wi-fi. A separate bathhouse with private flush toilets and shower rooms is nearby. Cabins are located a short distance away from the associated parking lot. It is a 10-minute walk up the hill from the main Conference Center to the cabins.
Located in the Oaks Campground, a 10-minute walk up the hill from the Conference Center, our yurts sleep 2 people and have electricity and heat, but no plumbing and no wi-fi. A yurt is a cozy, circular space provided by a wood structure and canvas walls. Each yurt is situated on a wooden platform, and is outfitted with a comfortable queen- or twin-size beds, linens, towels, warm comforters and blankets. A separate bathhouse with private flush toilets and shower rooms is nearby. The yurts are a short distance from the associated parking area. Note that high levels of rainfall November – April may affect yurt accessibility (walking path is available year-around).
Guests may bring their own tents for use on developed campsites located amongst oak and madrone forest. All sites have access to enclosed showers and outhouses; some to a separate bathhouse with private flush toilets and shower rooms. Camping offers an “unplugged” experience and sites are located a 10-15 minute walk away from the main meeting facilities. Tents are located a short distance away from the associated parking lot. Note that high levels of rainfall November – April may affect campground availability.
Spaces are available for a van, camper, or other vehicle (maximum length 25 feet). Electrical or other hook-ups are not available. Showers and restrooms are available in the campgrounds and nearby buildings.
