GROW WITH A GROUP RETREAT
at Mount Madonna, California
Explore the many facets of Yoga at beginner to advanced levels through a daily rhythm of spiritual practice including pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, asana (postures), kirtan (devotional singing), and rituals of devotion. Mount Madonna’s annual yoga retreats provide a rich opportunity for personal growth, learning of yogic methods, experiencing well-being in body, mind and spirit, and connecting with oneself and other like-minded individuals.
Learn the classical traditions of Ashtanga Yoga (eight-limbed yoga) as taught by Baba Hari Dass – grounded in the classical wisdom texts of Samkhya, Upanishads, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Bhagavad Gita and Vedas – through the guidance of experienced teachers and volunteers who studied with him or received intensive training in his lineage. We invite you to experience the heart of transformation and authenticity through immersing yourself in yoga, community, and nature by being a part of our annual retreats at Mount Madonna.
Join in spiritual retreat after the winter solstice. Practice yoga, and engage in afternoon activities, singing, presentations and dialogues on one central theme.
Be a part of an immersive experience to dive deeply into spiritual practices created specifically for this retreat by Baba Hari Dass.
This yoga posture-focused retreat offers multiple daily asana (postures) classes, and a choice of different styles, all led by highly experienced yoga practitioners.
Explore the pathways to liberation at this annual summer retreat. Practice yoga, and engage in afternoon activities, singing, presentations and dialogues.
Slow down, recharge, reconnect and come home to your more spacious, authentic self. Pursue growth in a beautiful, rustic environment designed to distill and deepen personal and spiritual development. Connect with others committed to personal and collective change in the context of dialogue, daily practice, and reflection.
During your retreat, enjoy daily yoga classes, fresh and delicious vegetarian meals, swims in the pond, and walks or hikes amidst the peaceful redwood forests and sweeping meadows. Treat yourself to the variety of offerings at our Wellness Center, including traditional massage and other body and Ayurvedic therapies. Fees are additional.
