Tuition:

  • Payable in advance to Mount Madonna
  • Reserve your space with a $1,000 deposit at the time of registration
  • Tuition balance of $1,000 due August 1, 2024
  • Meals and lodging cost of $800 is due upon arrival in Guatemala

Lodging, meals, excursions and incidentals:

  • Payable upon arrival in Guatemala to Kamalesh (Casa San Juan). Visa, Mastercard, US check, or cash accepted
  • Includes seven-night stay in shared accommodations at Casa San Juan, airport transfer upon arrival (only), all local tours and travel, all meals except one dinner in Antigua
  • Participants may come early or stay longer at a special price of $65 per person per night, two meals included

Airfare:

  • Payable by participant to airline of their choice. Airlines that fly to Antigua, Guatemala: American, Aeroméxico, Avianca, Delta, Taca, United, Volaris
  • Passport required
  • PLEASE NOTE: Air travel will not be arranged or managed by retreat organizers and must be arranged solely by the retreat participant

Policies & Cancellations

Deposits are non-refundable and are not transferable to another person. For cancellations received at least 2 weeks before the program starts, the deposit minus a $200 fee will be credited to any other program within one year. No credit is available for cancellations less than two weeks prior to the program start date, for no-shows, or for leaving an event early.

    Kamalesh teaches Samkhya Philosophy, Ayurveda, Core Asana, Asana Biomechanics, Hatha Yoga and meditation, and the Eight Limbs of Ashtanga Yoga. She serves as Chair, School of Yoga; Program Director, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy; Program Coordinator, Advanced Yoga Studies (YTT 300); and Program Coordinator, Certificate: Ayurvedic Practitioner and MA. She has been leading and teaching Mount Madonna Yoga Teacher Trainings since 2005. She lives in Guatemala and in Watsonville, CA.

    RYT 500

    YTT 500, Cultural Anthropologist, Doula and current student in MMI’s Ayurvedic Health Counselor program. Trained in Prenatal Yoga, Postnatal Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga (YTT-200), Classical Restorative Yoga and Advanced Yoga Studies (YTT-300, Mount Madonna Institute). Italian, Giulia has been living in Guatemala for the last 13 years where she’s been sharing the teachings of Yoga for 9 years with a growing community of local and international people.
