
Root to Rise: A Dynamic All-Levels Flow
A SPECIAL YOGA CLASS ACCOMPANIED BY CRYSTAL SINGING BOWLS, 3:30 - 4:45 PM
Join Yoga teacher Pushpa Danielle Barr for this all-levels power vinyasa (flowing postures) class that will begin with intentional breath and a slow, steady build to support strength, focus, and fluidity. Expect accessible arm balance variations, thoughtful transitions, and plenty of options along the way to honor your unique practice. Rooted in breath and choice, this class invites you to move with purpose and rise with confidence—on and off the mat.
The day’s program will also include:
- Brunch & dinner in the shared community dining hall
- A guided campus tour to Sunset Ridge (weather permitting)
- Personal time
- Option to stay for arati (ritual of light) after dinner at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple
- Option to book a wellness treatment at Kaya Kalpa Wellness Center (fees additional, advance reservations recommended)
To participate in this special class, please register as a Mountain Experience day visitor or Personal Retreat overnight guest.

Pushpa’s approach is playful yet purposeful, guiding practitioners to slow down and embrace the present moment. Her classes are all-level and welcome all who are curious about the effects of yoga.
Beyond the mat, Danielle is an accredited Montessori educator, a devoted mother, and an herbalist deeply attuned to nature’s rhythms. She leads transformative workshops, retreats, kirtans, and women’s circles designed to awaken the soul’s purpose and cultivate a life of gratitude and presence.
