Restorative Yoga & Sound Immersion
RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH CRYSTAL SINGING BOWLS
Join us for deep relaxation and energetic alignment. Guided by Danna Friedman, Yoga teacher and Mount Madonna Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) alumna, and Christina Sommers, sound healer and Mount Madonna community member, we’ll move through restorative poses, each movement accompanied by the healing vibrations of crystal sound bowls. Each pose and sound will be aligned with a chakra (energy center) of the body. Then, we’ll settle in for a sound bath and savasana (resting pose) to allow the frequencies to wash over us, offering moments of pure bliss.
Please note: This class is appropriate for ages 13 years and older.
The day’s program will also include:
- Brunch & dinner in the shared community dining hall
- A guided campus tour to Sunset Ridge (weather permitting)
- Personal time
- Option to stay for arati (ritual of light) after dinner at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple
- Option to book a wellness treatment at Kaya Kalpa Wellness Center (fees additional, advance reservations recommended)
To participate in this special class, please register as a Mountain Experience day visitor or Personal Retreat overnight guest.
