Pride on the Mountain | 2025
CELEBRATE QUEER JOY IN HONOR OF PRIDE MONTH
The Mount Madonna PRIDE group is excited to host you on the Mountain for a special day out exploring mindful movement in nature.
The day will begin with a group hike through the Redwoods led by the Mount Madonna PRIDE group. We will take some time at the beginning to acknowledge the land, and then hit the trails while taking moments to pause and reconnect with nature. This is also a great time to meet other folks who are visiting for the day.
An all-levels Yoga asana (postures) class will be taught by teachers from the Mount Madonna PRIDE group. You can expect a welcoming and safe environment to explore mindful movement, breathing, and affirmations.
Rainbow Sparkle attire is welcomed and encouraged.
The day’s program will also include:
- Brunch & dinner in the shared community dining hall
- Personal time
- Option to stay for arati (ritual of light) after dinner at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple
- Option to book a wellness treatment at Kaya Kalpa Wellness Center (fees additional, advance reservations recommended)
To participate in this special class, you can register for a Mountain Experience day visit — or extend your stay by camping on the mountain as a Personal Retreat overnight guest. Campsites are available Friday through Sunday, June 6 – 8.
Visit our booth at Santa Cruz PRIDE on June 1, 2025 to receive a special discount code for this Mountain Experience day!
