Strength, Softness, & Wellness
A Mother's Day Weekend Experience
Step into a day of presence, practice, and connection in honor of Mother’s Day. This special Mountain Experience day visit weaves together two featured offerings — a guided walk among the coastal redwoods and a special yoga class exploring the balance between strength and surrender — along with shared meals, discounted wellness treatments, and personal time to rest and explore as you wish. Whether you are honoring a mother, a mentor, a friend, or your own journey of nurturing, this day presents the opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply, and experience the nurturing container of the mountain. Those wishing for a more immersive experience may extend their visit by joining us overnight for the full Mother’s Day Weekend program.
A Guided Walk on the Mountain
Step away from the pace of daily life and into the quiet of the mountain. This guided walk invites you to move slowly, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the land. There is something inherently nurturing about time spent among coastal redwoods and open sky; consider it a reminder that care flows in every direction, from the earth to the beyond.
Strength & Softness: A Mother’s Day Yoga Practice & Reflection
Led by Jen Rand, Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Therapist, this all-levels class explores the balance between strength and surrender, two powerful aspects of the parenting experience. Flow through standing and seated poses that encourage effort and ease, stamina and release. Finish with a guided reflection on finding strength in softening.
