Hanuman Jayanti 2025
SATURDAY, APRIL 12

On the auspicious day of Hanuman Jayanti, you are invited to come visit the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple at Mount Madonna to offer prayers to Hanuman, who represents strength, power, loyalty and great knowledge, and who serves as the protector and the one who is victorious over all evils.

Hanuman is venerated throughout India and much of Southeast Asia as the embodiment of devotion, faith, valor, strength, and energy. In the epic Indian tale of the Ramayana, he represents the embodiment of perfect selflessness in his service to the Divine, in the form of Lord Ram. (Read Baba Hari Dass’ words on the topic of Hanuman, a deity representing prana, selfless service, and a broken ego.)
In most parts of India, the auspicious festival of Hanuman Jayanti (Hanuman’s birthday) is celebrated on the full moon day (purnima) of the Chaitra month which usually falls in March or April.
