Classical Ashtanga Yoga Wednesdays
Wednesdays 7:00 – 8:30am in the Redwood Room
This class is designed to offer a space for new and seasoned practitioners to practice the teachings of Classical Ashtanga Yoga (eight-limbed path) as presented by Baba Hari Dass. The first portion of class, from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m., will be devoted to a brief pranayama (breathing techniques) practice and a 15 to 20 minute meditation. The second portion, from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. will be devoted to asana (postures) practice. All levels are welcome to join for one or both parts of class.
Class Etiquette
- Please arrive at or before 7:00 a.m. if you plan to join for pranayama and meditation.
- If you arrive past 7:00 a.m., please plan to rejoin the class at 7:45 for asana practice. Please do not try to enter the yoga room until the teacher has invited you in.
- All props and mats are provided.
- Please do not bring beverages of any kind onto the practice floor.
- Please sign a Liability Waiver prior to class.
- Yoga classes are appropriate for ages 13 years and older. Please plan for a separate activity for children under age 13.

About the InstructorsThis program is taught by Mount Madonna Yoga Faculty, many of whom were senior students of Baba Hari Dass, and have studied Classical Ashtanga Yoga (eight-limbed path) for many years.
