Asana for Strength
Sundays 7:00-8:15am in the Redwood Room
Join Diana in the Redwood Room every Sunday from 7am to 8:15am for a yoga practice designed to build strength. Yoga postures, or asana, rely on isometric muscle contractions to hold the body in various shapes which place the weight of the body in challenging relationships to gravity. This slow-paced class will draw on these challenges as an opportunity to find ease within difficulty through specific placement of the bones, skillful use of the breath, and sourcing energy from our foundation.
