Mini-Course: The Biomechanics of Asana
Join us on the mountain for this in-person experience!
Join Kamalesh, M.A., Ayurveda, YTT 700, colleagues, and our Advanced Yoga Studies (YTT 300) students for an in-person exploration of the biomechanics of asana (postures). This weekend workshop is designed for folks who have completed a YTT 200 or are long-term practitioners with an interest in anatomy and kinesiology. We will dive deeply into each of the joints of the body and explore how asana can stabilize and strengthen or destabilize and weaken if performed improperly.
Perhaps you aren’t ready to commit to the whole YTT 300 program, but you’d like to spend a long weekend in a hands-on experience diving into the idiosyncrasies of the physical body. Join us on the mountain for this in-person opportunity.
