Yoga & Ayurveda: The Essentials (Online)
Dive deeply into three days of yoga theory and practice as viewed through the lens of Ayurveda.
Drawing from Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga (eight-limbed path) system and the practices of Hatha Yoga (path of balance), you will learn foundational practices of pranayama (breathing techniques), mudra (sacred gestures), shat karma (purification methods) and meditation, as well as basic philosophy and theory of both Yoga and Ayurveda as taught by Baba Hari Dass. This compact introduction is ideal for serious students who want to augment their knowledge and practice.
This program is a requirement for those who plan to take either the Advanced Yoga Studies (YTT 300) or the Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy program and whose YTT 200 certificate is not from Mount Madonna.
