Join yoga asana (postures) and meditation teacher Pushpa Danielle Barr and sound healer Savarna Wiley for a deeply nurturing Restorative Yoga & Sound Immersion experience in the heart of the redwoods. This special class weaves the timeless wisdom of Yoga with the vibrational healing of crystal singing bowls — resulting in a meditative, heart-centered journey into presence.

Through slow, grounded movement and intentional breath, we’ll unwind layers of tension and reconnect with the quiet intelligence of the body. Rooted in the eight limbs of Yoga and guided by mindfulness, each posture will become a portal to clarity, spaciousness, and remembrance.

As the body softens and the heart opens, Savarna’s immersive soundscape will offer a vibrational purification — crystalline tones that attune the subtle body and invite deep release. Together, breath and sound become a bridge back to the soul.

This is more than a class — it’s a reset; a remembering; a return to source.

All are welcome, just as you are, to be held, opened, and aligned with the rhythm of your being.

The day’s program will also include:

  • A guided campus walk to Sunset Ridge (weather permitting)
  • Brunch & dinner in the shared community dining hall
  • Personal time
  • Option to stay for arati (ritual of light) after dinner at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple
  • Option to book a wellness treatment at Kaya Kalpa Wellness Center (fees additional, advance reservations recommended)

    A preschool teacher at Mount Madonna School for the last four years, Pushpa Danielle Barr, E-RYT 500, RPYT, has been practicing Yoga for many years. She completed her Prenatal Yoga Training at Mount Madonna and has over 1200 hours of yoga teacher training. She has taught in many settings all around the world. Danielle’s classes are breath focused, challenging, fun and spacious. Her intention as a guide in Yoga is to hold a place for the practitioner to live a more present life, with gratitude in what is offered with each breath. She believes a Yoga practice acts as a strong foundation for an awakened life. Pushpa lives in the redwood forest of Watsonville with her two children and husband and two wolf dogs, and many chickens!

    Mountain Experience:

    • Adults: $105
    • Children ages 13 and older: $105
    • Children 5 - 12 years old: $50
    • Children 4 years and under: FREE (Please note: This class is appropriate for ages 13 years and older.)

    Personal Retreat:

    Useful Information

    • Included (day visit): Two vegetarian meals, a scheduled yoga class and guided walk, and access to the Temple and 380 acres of hiking trails, walking paths, and indoor amenities. Wellness treatments and Ayurvedic consultations are not included but may be booked in advance.
    • Reservations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the day of your visit.
    • Arrival & Departure (day visit): Check in between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm; and depart by 7:00 pm.
