About Yoga For All Movement
Yoga For All Movement (YFAM) makes Yoga accessible to populations historically underserved by the wellness industry. They use Yoga as a vehicle for social impact and systemic change, serving:
Youth and adults experiencing incarceration, people with mental health challenges, those with different mobility or lower incomes, youth with different abilities, LGBTQIA+ community members, people in recovery, isolated seniors, and survivors of domestic violence.
Their mission’s core values are accessibility, equity, inclusiveness, courage, and empowerment—echoing Dr. Cornel West’s words, featured on YFAM’s website: “Justice is what love looks like in public.”
