Experience the ancient yogic cleansing practices in a supportive, nurturing environment. Learn the theory behind the practices and have a safe, practical experience of many of them. Included is varisara dhauti, the cleansing of the intestinal tract by drinking salt water and performing low impact asanas. It will help your body get rid of excess mucus, bile and toxins, creating an environment to restore natural balance.

"Varisara dhauti is a method of washing the intestines with water. It should be learned from an experienced teacher." - the Ashtanga Yoga Primer by Baba Hari Dass.

MANGALA NORSKOG, RN, Ayurvedic Practitioner, integrates aspects of devotional intention, anatomical reference, and subtle body physiology into classical methods of traditional asana, pranayama, and meditation practice. A long time student of Baba Hari Dass, Mangala continues to “teach to learn.” She has been an instructor in Mount Madonna Center’s Ashtanga Yoga Teachers Training Program since 1996.
