Practitioners of ancient healing traditions of India and China have known for thousands of years something that recent medical studies are just now confirming: that the body is not simply a biological machine but a vast energetic network. Drawing from the healing traditions of Yoga and Qigong, Dr. Amelia Barili will teach you to
  • map and trace the main energy channels in your body
  • recognize how different emotions affect each organ and healing meditations for each
  • gather and store energy from nature to increase your vitality
  • master acupressure-style self-massage and release points to keep your energy flowing
  • use a form of breathing that balances and integrates both sides of the brain.
These time-tested techniques are so simple that anyone can practice them. Practitioners experience increased energy, better sleep, less stress, improved concentration, enhanced performance and better relationships. Women also find this practice very beneficial to alleviate PMS, menopausal symptoms, and disorders in the urinary and reproductive system. Recommended to anyone who wants to lead a healthy and deeply satisfying life, as well as for counseling and healthcare professionals.
  • Continuing Education Credit for nurses.
  • Fulfills the spiritual practice prerequisite for John F. Kennedy University's Graduate School for Holistic Studies.

AMELIA BARILI, Ph.D., received her diploma in Yoga Therapy and Philosophy in 1972 from Kaivalyadhama Yoga School in India and has taught Yoga internationally ever since. She is also a disciple of Grand-master Yang Mei Jun, the 27th generation inheritor of the Taoist Medical Qigong System developed in the Kunlun Mountains in China and only recently brought to the West.
