This retreat will offer teachings and group discussions on how to arouse courageous energy and willingness to face and engage with everyday life, especially when it presents hardship, insults, illness, and anxiety.  Further encouragements will be given on how such compassionate engagement with disease can be a path of practice for realizing health and ease.  All these teachings and discussions will be conducted in the environment of periods of peaceful sitting and walking meditation.  The daily schedule also provides opportunities to walk and cavort in the wilds of the mountains.

  • Continuing Education Credit for nurses, LMFT's, and LCSW's.
  • Fulfills the spiritual practice prerequisite for John F. Kennedy University's Graduate School for Holistic Studies.
